When my best friend told me that Good Chen was selling Hello Kitty Moon Cakes, I just had to have a look... and taste =)
From the Good Chen website:
For every 4 Moon Cakes bought, I get a free Kitty carrier! I chose the two designs which I think are more unique. I wanted to try all flavours but they sold out so quickly! Can't blame them though, they're simply irresistable!
The moon cakes come in individually wrapped packages... I wanted to wait till the Mid Autumn Festival to try them but my hubby begged to try them the moment we bought them. Guess he couldn't resist the temptation and cuteness... or maybe he just wanted to devour anything with Hello Kitty on it =)
These are the various flavours I got: Crisp Chocodo, Pandan Bliss, Matcha Massimo, Majestic Berries Nutes, Snowy Deary, Italian Tiramisu and 2 snow skin flavours which I don't know the names of...

Here's a closer look at the Kitty moon cakes! Although I think I disfigured some during handling =P
The moon cakes were rather tasty and go really well with a steaming pot of hot chocolate. I did find some of the flavours to be a little too extreme for my taste buds though.
I finally got to use my Hello Kitty 2-tier cake stand which I think is just lovely!
And that wraps up my first-ever Hello Kitty Tea Party! We had a really fun time tasting the different flavours of moon cakes and my hubby really enjoyed chomping off the features of Hello Kitty =) a great opportunity to express his love-hate relationship with the kitty without a mouth... Can't wait till the next party =)
